Often times, we work too hard thinking we can do everything to achieve the goal we have set for ourselves– only to find out, that our best is not good enough.
Disappointments take part in our lives and we begin to question the truth of the principle: If we do our best, God will do the rest.
We seldom realize, that most of the times, we neglect the reality that only by ourselves – we can do nothing. We tend to run ahead of God, towards the goal we strongly desire and overlook the Secret of Success.
2 Chronicles 26:5 says, “As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.”
God wants us to seek him first. Success will never come from our hard work but only from Him.
The truth is our own efforts are futile compared to the surpassing greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He (Jesus) even took it as one of his last will and testament to remain in Him so we can bear much fruit.
The very reason why faith and work goes together because God wants us to see the right way of doing things. Faith and work are contradictory working together as you and our God are opposite working as one. Let’s admit it: We have weaknesses and limitations, but God wants us to be partners with Him to show us his unlimited power and capabilities towards everything.
So don’t get away from God, seek and consider Him as you plan your course, and let Him direct your steps. Stop doing what everybody else’s doing. Get into that secret place. Tune in to W-O-R-D – it’s where we can find the way to success. (Joshua 1:8)
Walk and move with the Lord – because with Jesus, you will never go wrong.
