Everyday Is A New Beginning

How do you face a new day? Do you rely on what happened on your past?
EVERYDAY IS A NEW BEGINNING
.

Isaiah 43:18-19 says that, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it.

LET ME TELL YOU 2 MAIN POINTS:

1.) Don’t Dwell On Past Failures.

We all had a regretful past. We lived our lives according to our own preferences.  In fact, we don’t value much other peoples’ opinion that’s why most of us neglect the suggestions and guidance of our parents. Will it benefit us if we will always look back on our failures? No it won’t!

I’ve been hearing a lot of christians struggling in their faith. You know why? The enemy is trying to fill our minds with guilt. Imagine, we already asked for forgiveness, and God already forgiven us. Sad to say that the enemy tries to put guilt in our minds because he just wanted us to be separated again from the love of God.

Here is what normally happens: Everytime the enemy makes us feel guilty, we tend to hesitate in communicating with God. That is why most of us stop praying.

Remember this: God forgiven us. We are new and we are made righteous. The enemy will put any kind of lie just to destroy your life. Don’t let him do that. So don’t feed your minds with guilt!

2.) Don’t Dwell On Past Achievements.

As christians, I do believe we did a lot of service in the church. Some of us preached the gospel. Some of us used God given skills to worship and dance for God. Some of us used God given wisdom to comfort those who mourn. Most of us walked with God in the past.

Everyday is a new beginning! Our past achievements for God could be a great encouragement to continuously serve Him. On the other hand, it is not an assurance for our future success. You may have preached the gospel before but it doesn’t mean that you will be able to do it in the future. That is why there is what we call “Backsliders.” These people knew God, served God and walked with God before. Now, they turned away from God!

When we are called to serve God, always be ready that the enemy will always give you temptations, trials and problems which could shaken our faith.

Remember this: Ask God for new anointing everyday. New Vision. New Purpose. New Strength. New life. Don’t rely on what you did for God before. Instead, be focus on what you can do for God, today and the next days to come.

As the world says, PAST Is PAST!
