Just as each of us has one body with
many members and these members
do not all have same function. Romans 12:4
I always ask myself why I have no desire and passion to pray even though I knew that one remarkable thing about prayer is that it takes our worries away which opens door for love and joy from God.
Just like any other individual, I normally pray when I have problems or at times that I want to give thanks for all His blessings. However I am not really sure why my youth leaders pushed me into the prayer ministry.
I’m sure there is a purpose why I’m in that ministry because everytime I pray, something stirs up my heart and I can’t even explain it.
PRAYER IS ONE ACT OF COMMUNICATING, BONDING AND CONNECTING WITH GOD!!!
As I remember this phrase, my passion for prayer begins…I realize that prayer is not only for your own good but for others as well. If He wants to have fellowship with you…it’s a great privilege!
One morning as I was studying His word in Romans 12:24, He spoke the message of the need to pray for my friends and youth leaders. My mind is wrestling whether to pray or not. However, there is a strong prompting for me to obey.

Whenever God says Pray, you should PRAY…

In the church, every member has different set of giftings that should be use to equip the church. We have our own spiritual gifts for the purpose of ministry. Always put this in mind, God doesn’t force a person to serve but He puts us in a certain process to equip up then start gaining the passion for service (Ephesians 4:12). Our only part is to be faithful and available and aware of opportunities to use our gifts (Romans 12:6).
Daily Devotion Conclusion:
Though we have our own spiritual giftings, still there is nothing that would separate us from prayer! We are all called to pray because it’s the primary mode of our communication with God. I do believe we should not just pray for ourselves. Other people badly need our prayers to back them up in their struggling situations.
