If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes, if they violate my decrees and fail to keep my commands, I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging; but I will not take my love from him, nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
Psalms 89:30-33
I was at the peak of my bible reading schedule when this verse suddenly came to my sight. It is very simple and direct however people don’t give to much attention to it. This is one the verse in Psalms that really touched my heart.
We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We all saw the light and Savior of our world and yet we choose to live wickedly on this very dark world. It seems weird, we’ve heard a lot of mysteries in the bible that is truly happening in today’s world but we still don’t bother change our lives and serve God.
I have lots of friends who grew with me attending the church since childhood, and now most of them are totally lost. Some of them are wandering and playing with their life as if they will gain long lasting satisfaction on what they do. Others choose the live a sinful life than repenting to God.

Sad to say that people live their lives as if they will not die.

What’s amazing about God is that His love never changes! No matter how sinful we are, His arms is wide open to bring us back to Him. The bible clearly states that even if we violate His laws, His love will never be taken away from us.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Psalms 8:38-39

Daily Devotion Conclusion:
Though God’s love never change, we should not put Him to the test. God’s love is something not to be abused!
