Keep No Record Of Wrongs

For some reasons, living a life full of hatred and anger results to depression to ones life. I’m sure you had experience hiding grudge and hatred towards other people, how did you feel back then? Are you happy? Are you at peace? or are you confused?

According to 1 Corinthians 13 (NIV),
Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

The bible clearly states that we should forgive others just as God forgiven us, right? If God knows how to forgive us no matter how stubborn we are, who are we not to forgive others for a very small reason.

I’ve heard some people justify, they say that forgiving takes time. In a nut shell, how can we possibly say that if God can forgive us instantly? Remember this, it takes real faith to obey God. It takes real faith to forgive even if it HURTS!

Romans 12:17,
Do not repay anyone evil for evil.
Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.

————————————————-—————–—————-

And wait! The bible did not only say forgive one another. It also says that we should not keep record of wrongs. You know why? It would be very hard to say to yourself that you have forgiven other people if as you see them, you still feel the hurt inside. Love does not keep record of wrongs!

Daily Devotion Conclusion:

The greatest motivation for us to forgive other people is the living example that God keeps on showing us. For a million times we’ve sinned against Him, but He’s arms are wide enough to pull us back into His arms and forgive us no matter how stubborn we are.

God keeps no record of our wrongs. Isn’t it the best example we should follow? Start wiping out the bad memories in you NOW!
