Fulfilling Your Purpose

One thing that I like most about the bible is that it teaches everything. It talks about all aspects of our lives; answering every “how to” questions. Every person is searching for a sense of purpose. Even unbelievers ask themselves, “Why am I born?” No doubt, we are not merely created to live, eat and die. There is a far greater purpose that we need to fulfill in our lives.

For every new creation, only the creator knows its purpose. Only the inventor knows the purpose of his inventions, right? Same holds true with our lives! Only the creator knows our purpose, its God. To definitely know our purpose of existence, we need to ask Him. You know how? It’s simply by praying and reading His word.

You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.

Psalms 119:4
———————————————–

I like this verse so much. This reminds me that God orchestrated everything in our life. I strongly believe that we have a purpose to fulfill everyday as long as we are alive. He did not created us live our lives without sense. According to Psalms, God already laid down every precepts. It means all the tasks that we are meant to fulfill. However, God gave us free will to decide for ourselves, whether to follow His instructions or not. But ofcourse, we need to understand that every action we take has its corresponding consequences. If we do follow, there’s a blessing that is promised for us. If not, we are probably heading to destruction.

Daily Devotion Conclusion:

Dear friends, the end is getting nearer and nearer. No one is assured as to when we will stay alive. Disasters and tragedies are heading towards us now. The question is, are you ready to face your creator? Are you ready to stand in front of Him and report about that tasks He wanted you to accomplish?

Everything is laid upon us. We simply need to obey!
