Love God, Hate Evil

When we came to know God, we ought to read His word and live what it says. The bible teaches us a lot of commands that God wants us to fulfill in our lives. If unbelievers need lectures about salvation, believers need lectures on how to follow God.

There is a big problem nowadays on issues regarding faith. Most christians do push unbelievers to have faith in God and to utter the sinners prayer. Seems good but as many people quote, it’s like an “Ambush Evangelism.” We don’t give people a chance to decide for themselves and so they follow the prayers without really having the desire to live with it.

As a result, you’ve probably met a lot of so called christians who lived a very different life, sinning towards God. I do have a lot of friends who make themselves believe that they are christians since they attend church and utter the sinners prayer.  However, they don’t even bother read their bibles that’s why they never get convicted when they sin.

I realized that true salvation makes a person love God and hate evil. A person can’t say he loves God if all he does is the will of the devil, right? I like how David utter his prayers in Psalms 97: 10, “Let those who love the Lord hate evil.

Daily Devotion Conclusion:

As a christian, you have no other choice but to Love GOD and Hate evil. Always remember that you can’t love both God and evil. It’s either you love God or you love evil.
